In an episode of The Big Bang Theory a while back, Penny gave Sheldon a Christmas, which was a napkin with a personalised message from Leonard Nimoy, and then found out that it contained his DNA.
Sheldon was so excited and overwhelmed with the generosity of what (to him) was such an incredibly cool present, that he ended up changing Pennys present, and giving her as many gifts as possible to try and show just how much it meant to him.
If you have bought someone a small present, and then time travelled to the future and found out that they had got something huge for you, would you go back and change your mind, instead buying them something worth much more, or would you decide to stay with the original decision?
Would you even want to go to the future, and find out what others have got you?
