(Details of a great writers podcast, and I go completely wireless).

I recently found that my friend Daniel Willcocks has released another set of fantastic writing Podcasts, that’s jam-packed full of great gems and nuggets, aimed for writers who want to reach the next level.
I’ve known Dan on and off for approximately 10 years. My son first introduced me to him, back when they were doing parkour together, and their parkour group invited me along on several occasions to be their photographer (wow that seems so long ago now, lol). We became facebook friends, and I’ve watched, as his author career has blossomed, from his first book, to his partnership with Hawk and Cleaver, various podcasts including my favourite podcast The Other Stories, and now with Sacha Black and Next Level Authors in what could turn out to be my new favourite podcast.
In other news, this week, I am happy to announce the lack of wires on my desk. My Keyboard has been wireless for a while now, and today my new wireless mouse came through the post, woohoo! I now feel completely liberated, and free.
The best bit about this, is that I get to binge on the podcasts while writing, using my new wireless setup (no more snagging the mouse lead with my mug). I also decided to go one better, and convert my headphones, by adding a bluetooth headphone jack, and coiling up the wires to be tidy. My keyboard, mouse and headphones are now completely free (all rechargeable batteries for those who are wondering about the environment), leaving my brain to work without the distraction of wires flapping around, anywhere 🙂 I no longer get snagged when I walk away from my desk, or risk spilling hot drinks, with my mouse wire sticking out of the front of my computer, which means I can now use those extra seconds spent worrying about stupid things and carry on writing (which is great for my OCD, yeah!).
